I was introduced to homeopathy a number of years ago via a friend who suggested I see her homeopath for some health issues that I was experiencing. I was captivated by the subject from the offset, and I had some amazing results from it. To this end, I enrolled on a professional, four-year licentiate course to become a homeopath.
I am very passionate about homeopathy, and I am fascinated by its philosophy. It is a kind of magic. It addresses the wholeness of our being on a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level. And the beauty of it is that it comes without side effects, which is one of the reasons why my homeopath, formerly a GP, decided to become a homeopath because she wanted to find a way of treating people without the unpleasant side effects caused by many allopathic drugs.
I am a professionally qualified astrologer and I find that there are significant correspondences between homeopathic remedy pictures and astrological and planetary archetypes. I can take this into account when analysing a case, leading to increased accuracy of remedy selection and more individualised treatment.
I am also a Reiki master/teacher and a naturopathic nutritionist, and I am able to call upon these disciplines in my practice where their use is appropriate or if of interest to the client.
Prior to my transition into a more naturopathic paradigm, I worked as an IT consultant in the corporate world where I acquired invaluable experience both as an instructor and a technical writer.
